AN EVENING WITH JAMES BOND: Willoughby Symphony Orchestra Sets the Stage for a Night of Musical Splendour.

In a harmonious fusion of unbridled joy and extraordinary musical versatility, the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra is poised to kick off its 2024 season with a sensational performance, "AN EVENING WITH JAMES BOND," on the 3rd and 4th of February 2024. This spectacular event will showcase the musical brilliance of one of Australia's most distinguished orchestras, led by the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, Dr. Nicholas Milton AM. The orchestra will be joined by world-class British artist Mary Carewe, renowned for her captivating renditions of "The Music of James Bond" at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, New York, the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, and the Royal Albert Hall, London.

Dr. Milton expressed his excitement about this groundbreaking concert, stating, "The Willoughby Symphony Orchestra has never devoted an entire concert to the incomparably thrilling music of the James Bond film franchise. We are partnering with one of the world's great singers, Mary Carewe, to present a gala event that should not be missed by anyone who has ever enjoyed a James Bond film."

Mary Carewe, a British concert and recording artist, has collaborated with Dr. Milton on previous occasions, recording iconic Bond songs with London's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Her ability to channel the vocal essence of legendary artists like Shirley Bassey, Adele, Tina Turner, and Billie Eilish promises to transport the audience into the presence of the original performers. The concert will feature beloved titles from the franchise, including classics like "Goldfinger," "Diamonds Are Forever," "Nobody Does It Better," "Licence To Kill," "Goldeneye," "No Time To Die," and "Skyfall."
