Vivid Sydney, the renowned festival of light, music, ideas, and food, returns for its 14th edition this year, promising 23 nights of unforgettable experiences from May 24th to June 15th.

This year's theme, Humanity, delves into the very essence of what makes us human – love, kindness, compassion, and creativity. The festival promises a diverse program that will explore these themes through stunning light installations, captivating music performances, thought-provoking ideas sessions, and mouthwatering culinary adventures.

The Sydney Opera House sails will adorned with the captivating display of the 2023 Archibald Prize winner, Julia Gutman's Echo (2024). Walk under a canopy of 40 kilometres of rainbow lasers emanating from the Sydney Tower, a powerful symbol of hope created by US artist Yvette Mattern. These are just a couple of highlights from a dazzling line-up that includes works by Reg Mombassa, Guan Wei, and Leila Jeffreys, promising a truly magical experience.

Vivid Sydney isn't just about lights. Music lovers will enjoy the curated program of live performances, intimate concerts, and electrifying DJ sets happening across various venues. Budjerah, grentperez, and Mallrat will be gracing the stage at the free Tumbalong Nights program, while established artists like Deerhoof, Jen Cloher, and No Fixed Address will bring the energy to the newly opened Machine Hall Precinct.
