MAGIC & MORE: Christmas at The State

Sydney's legendary State Theatre plays host to The Christmas Spectacular from December 20th to 22nd. This extravagant production promises to ignite the senses and fill audiences with the joy and magic of Christmas.

Headlining the show are two renowned performers – master illusionist Michael Boyd and special guest Prinnie Stevens, a finalist from The Voice and celebrated musical theatre star. Together, they are set to deliver a dazzling display of music, circus, dance, and, of course, jaw-dropping magic.

The Christmas Spectacular takes audiences on a festive journey, paying tribute to iconic holiday performances such as the Radio City Rockettes and The Nutcracker. Prinnie Stevens will captivate with her angelic vocals, belting out a medley of Christmas classics, from traditional carols to Mariah Carey's beloved holiday hits. Her unique style and undeniable talent are sure to get everyone in the holiday spirit.

But the true showstopper of the evening will be the incredible illusions and mind-bending magic of Michael Boyd. As a finalist on Australia's Got Talent, Michael Boyd has firmly established himself as one of the country's premier illusionists. For this special Christmas production, he will pull out all the stops, wowing the crowd with a mesmerising display of magic infused with yuletide wonder.

Joining Prinnie and Michael will be an ensemble of Australia's finest showgirls, many of whom have graced the stages of world-renowned cabaret venues like the Moulin Rouge and the Lido. Their dazzling costumes and high-energy routines will add an extra layer of spectacle to this already awe-inspiring performance.
